Service Delivery for Informal Settlements in South Africa
Asivikelane gives a voice to informal settlement residents in South Africa’s major cities who face severe basic service shortages, like access to water, clean toilets and waste removal.
IBP South Africa’s goal is improved service delivery to poor communities through larger budget allocations and more effective and efficient budget implementation. We pursue this goal by supporting grassroots campaigns, like Asivikelane, that strengthen and integrate the oversight and accountability system.
I was commissioned to shoot a comprehensive photo library to be used across the client’s marketing channels, such as website, social media and print collateral.
